Turkey Burgers

‘Perfect for lunch, dinner or packed up into lunch boxes’

Turkey is a very rich source of protein, niacin, vitamin B6 and the amino acid tryptophan. It is also contains zinc and vitamin B12. Try to buy organic.


INGREDIENTS

500g of Turkey mince

2 tablespoon Tamari sauce or Soya Sauce

1tablespoon honey

1.5 tsp olive oil

1 tablespoon chopped shallots or chopped red onion

1/4tsp garlic powder


How to Make

In a small bowl whisk all the ingredients other than the Turkey

Pour mixture over the turkey meat in a larger bowl

Blend with your hands but don’t mush too much or the burgers will be too dense

Form into 4 burgers.

Grill for about 5 minutes or shallow fry in coconut or olive oil then flip over and repeat.

Top burger with your favourite topping for example, avocado and tomato or sautéed onions & mushrooms.
