‘Great alternative bread and almost carb free – much needed when you really fancy a piece of toast! Gluten free too.
Ok, this isn’t going to taste like a white baguette, but when you haven’t eaten toast for a month and are craving bread, this is great alternative.
INGREDIENTS (makes 1 ‘bun’)
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoon almond flour
½ tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 egg
How to Make
Mix all the ingredients well and leave for a couple of minutes
Pour into a mug or small bowl
Microwave for 90 seconds and turn over and it will fall out.
Leave to cool, slice and then toast
